                                                 APS 361 Monitoring System

                                   

The Advantec 361 Monitoring Only  (APS 361) is a compact  in-line analyzing instruments designed for the production environment.  Using NIRT (near  infrared transmission) technology, the APS 361 offers the smaller processing plants an economical, simple to operate manual control system.    The APS 361 analyzes milk products from within the process line using near infra red light emitted through FDA and  3A Approved Quad Beam Sensors, any changes in the product can immediately be detected, alerting the operator within seconds to changes in the products butterfat content.  No cleaning, no chemicals to make and no zeroing.

Technical Information  The APS 361 consist of a 24x24x12 inch Nema 4 Stainless Panel with Vortex air cooling.  The Operator Interface is a 12 Inch Color TFT Touch Screen Computer.  The Operator Software is the easy to read and use Advantec Genie Runtime.   The Operator can read the Fat results from over 30 feet away.   The Enclosure contains the necessary components to support single Advantec Fat Sensor that may be either a two inch or a three inch version.  The System includes the necessary transmission cables for the sensor.  The APS 361 measures fluid milk at the rate of 3600 samples per hour with one constituent which can be either fat or solids.

Applications

bulletThe 2" sensor is designed for higher solids products such as cream, for determining fat.
bulletThe 3" sensor is designed for lower solids products such as milk, flavored drinks, teas, juices and CIP solutions.  The sensitivity of The 3" sensor has greater sensitivity for lower concentration products than the 2" sensor due to a  wider distance between the      sensor fingers there by increasing the sample volume flowing between the finger tips.
