                                                        APS Vitamin Pump and Control System

                                        

The APS Vitamin Pump and Control System provides the modern fluid milk plant a solution to the problems associated with the proper addition of Vitamins to fluid milk.  The requirement for the milk plant to certify the addition of Vitamin D to Homo 3.25% Milk and Vitamin A+D to Skim through 2.00% Milk has generated the need for a reliable fail safe method of Vitamin addition to all of the milk going into storage or a container.  Using highly accurate scales that are communicating with peristaltic pumps, the APS Vitamin and Control System monitors the change in the electronic scale and in the event that the scale stops changing the pump alerts the Advantec Process System to send the HTST into recycle.  The very accurate Peristaltic Pump is programmable to run from the Advantec Milk Standardizing System and deliver the proper rates of Vitamins for the specific product.
